Plagiarism Check

Journal of Sustainable Community Empowerment (JSCE) is committed to upholding the highest standards of academic integrity and ethical publishing. To ensure the originality of all submitted manuscripts, JSCE conducts plagiarism screening using reliable similarity-detection software, such as Turnitin prior to the peer review process.

All submitted manuscripts must be original works and must not contain any form of plagiarism, including but not limited to direct plagiarism, self-plagiarism, excessive similarity, data fabrication, or inappropriate paraphrasing. Manuscripts found to have significant similarity with previously published works will be subject to editorial action in accordance with the journal’s ethical standards.

As a general guideline, manuscripts submitted to JSCE should demonstrate an overall similarity index of no more than 20%, excluding references, quotations, and commonly used methodological descriptions. These thresholds are used as screening indicators and do not replace editorial judgment.
